About the Danish National ID Centre
The Danish National ID Centre (NIDC) is an independent expert centre whose objective is to advice and support Danish authorities in the area of immigration and more specifically by identifying and determining the identity of aliens.
The Danish National ID Centre continuously supports the authorities with confirming identities in immigration cases by assessing the authenticity of documents, facial and fingerprint comparisons, and by providing relevant background information. Furthermore, the centre provides training courses in ID document assessment and basic training in facial comparison.

Organizational Chart
The Danish National ID Centre consists of 35 employees, including the head and deputy head of the Danish National ID Centre and a chief consultant.
